This series is GREAT. Made by long-time CN vet, Gennedy Tartovsky, Samurai Jack is humorous, action-filled and full of energy. The cinematography is excellent that it complements Jack's journey and tells of him taking up the responsibility of freeing not only the past, but the future as well, fighting off goons of different walks of life. It seems streched, but that may be just the signature Tartovsky style. All and all, would not be surprised if they did a film on this.

Samurai Jack is not a cartoon show. Samurai Jack is a work of art in motion. You need this in your library. You need to show this to your children, so they may see that cartoons that transcend beyond the ordinary can sometimes escape the art house and reveal themselves to the world.

This is a really interesting cartoon. I remember it being a little boring as a kid and I didn't care about the scenery. I just wanted to see fighting. Re-watching it several years later I really appreciate the effort and skill that went into this show. Sometimes the scenes are a little breathtaking. The voice actors are also fantastic, even most of the side characters. FOOOOOOOOOOOOLISH SAMURAI WARRIOR!
